Solstice Sanctuary was established to create a nurturing haven for both animals and humans. Our sanctuary provides a secure refuge for animals who have endured trauma or need a loving home.
We believe in the healing power of the land, which serves as a strong foundation for recovery. As the land aids the animals on their journey, they, in turn, offer invaluable support to supporting human healing.
Together, we embark on a transformative journey, healing and growing from our shared experiences.

Founding Story: Solstice Sanctuary was founded by a group of woman to be a healing center. In just over a two years we have rescued over 25 animals, and hosted many human healing and educational events.
Kanali's Cause: Was created after Solstice Sanctuary rescued Kanali and her pasture mate Catori. Due to severe malnutirion and neglect Kanali did not survive her condition. In her honor we have promised to spread awareness against animal cruelty. The meaning of her name is the Sun - she has effectively lit a bright light in all of us to help her cause. Each fall we hold an annual fundraising event in her honor.
